✔️ Dosage & Administration of Bygerd 20
- Gastric/Duodenal Ulcers: 20 mg once daily (8 weeks for gastric ulcers, 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers).
- Reflux Esophagitis: 20 mg daily for 4–8 weeks. Maintenance therapy is 10 mg daily, increasing to 20 mg if necessary.
- Prevention of Ulcer Recurrence: 10 mg daily for those on low-dose aspirin or NSAIDs.
- Helicobacter pylori Eradication: 20 mg twice daily alongside antibiotics (amoxicillin and clarithromycin/metronidazole) for 7 days.
- Children: Not recommended for those under 18 years.
- Renal and Hepatic Impairment: Adjustments may be needed, especially in severe cases.
